Applicable Law:

This Impressum and any disputes arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania.

1. Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to the rooms and/or the property of the Lodge by themselves, their friends or any person for whom they are responsible.
2. Management and staff of Mount Meru Game Lodge accept no liability and/or shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings and valuables. Guests remain solely responsible for the safekeeping of any such items. We encourage our guests to make use of the room safes to store valuables, money, passports and personal belongings.
3. The liability of the Lodge towards the guest will seize the moment the guest leaves the Lodge compound/gate. If guests are still checked-in at the Lodge and decide to venture out of the Lodge compound, they will be doing so at their own risk.
4. Children must be under parent/guardian supervision at all times. In no event shall the management of Mount Meru Game Lodge be liable for any damage, injury or death of a child due to a parent’s/guardian’s negligence. 
5. The management of Mount Meru Game Lodge suggests all guests insure themselves against:
   1. Personal accidents and injuries;
   2. Cancellation, emergency evacuation, medical expenses and loss of property.
6. Please be informed that all extra activities are outsourced to third parties. We have done our best to ensure that activities offered through our Lodge are safe and enjoyable. However, we cannot be held liable for any mishaps, injury or death that may occur.
